Stephanie + Justin // Married

Ya know what I love about weddings? As much as you try to plan them, they are never on schedule. They are go with the flow, fly by the seat of your pants, totally crazy, totally romantic, totally beautiful and totally perfect in every way.

We planned on getting some sunset shots with Stephanie and Justin, just after toasts. But so many people LOVE these people to pieces. So we missed sunset. I'll say it now, and I'll say it forever and always, toasts are my favorite part of a wedding. They make me cry. They make everyone cry. They give a glimpse into these lives, a snap shot with words. I would listen to toasts for 6 hours straight.

The sun had just set and we had about 4 minutes of light. And then the magic happened. The mountains, the scenery, the perfect couple, it all just meshed together. I worked a little off camera flash to get it all in for the images, and I'm so glad that we missed sunset. These images are even better. WAY better.

Not just the portraits. The whole day. The laughs, the beauty, the romance of it all. These are not people who decided to get married. These are people who are devoted to each other, to their family. These are people who know the important things in life. They know that love is all there is, that family is everything, and that it's so much better to laugh and appreciate each other than it is to worry about things that don't really matter in the long run.

These are my kind of people.

This wedding was a joy.

And, Harper, nice cake smash.

You guys are awesome and I wish I could shoot your wedding every weekend, from now until forever! XOXOX I wish you all the best for forever!
